An Open Letter To Our Fellow Americans

What is missing from our lives today? Whether we grew up with religious instruction or

not, we have questions which never seem to have legitimate answers. Without reasonable

answers we turn our backs even further to our religious backgrounds. Yet we

remain unfulfilled. How do we quantify our feelings and experiences? Is it enough

to try to live our lives  in the Christian way without a dedication to study?

What I’m really asking, is God missing from our lives?

In today's modern world how far have we really come? War is still at our

doorstep. Hunger and disease still trouble our minds. Hatred and prejudice

have still not been vanquished. Many indeed worship at the altar of materialism.

There are those  of us who wait for the New Age to be ushered

in with hope and faith. Is there more we can do? Perhaps the salvation

of mankind is reliant on the very principles that make us great; our quest

for knowledge and our own free will. Pride and selfishness must be cast aside

and humanity’s spiritual awareness must rise against the forces of materialism

and greed which permeate our culture today

There are alternatives available. The quest for enlightenment and inspiration

has led me to the world of Spiritism, well known in other corners

of the Globe it appeals to our modern world and I believe can find a home in the U.S.

When Spiritism was first introduced to me, I had several reservations. My first

and foremost reservation was communication between man and spirit. In all my religious

studies I always believed it unwise and unsafe to try to communicate with

the spirit world. That is what most Christians believe as well. The fact of

the matter is that all Catholic principles can be found in Spiritism.

Communication between the spirit and the material world can be found in

many examples throughout most religious texts. Why does it seem unreasonable to

believe that God, in his infinite wisdom, would not send us good spirits to help us in this

world to advance morally and spiritually? Perhaps Spiritism is the answer

to the questions posed by our ever evolving minds. Science and religion

can work in harmony in what we can learn from a spirit world full of

knowledge and wisdom.
