Divaldo Pereira Franco
Long Island Spiritist Doctrine Studies
Divaldo Pereira Franco, world renowned Spiritist speaker and medium, has traveled
the world raising spiritual awareness and spreading a message of love, faith and
compassion.

An exceptional Medium, Mr Franco has produced more
than 200 books through psychography (automatic writing)
70 of which have been already been translated into 15
languages. Some of his well-known spiritual writing
partners include the great French master Victor Hugo, the
Indian sage Rabindranath Tagore,  the Mexican nun and
poet Juana Inés de la Cruz and most notably Joanna de
    Angelis.

Divaldo's life has been dedicated to the enlightenment of others and to helping the less
fortunate. A true humanitarian who exemplifies the noblest of Christian ideals,
Together with Nilson Pereira Mr Franco founded "Mansão do Caminho", an outreach
project located in the city of Salvador, Bahia, in northeast Brazil. "Mansão do
Caminho" (Mansion of the Way) has housed and provided for more than 30,000
children and their families since 1952. To date over 20,000 people have received free
medical, dental and psychological care from the Mansion of the Way.

Fairly unknown by the American public, Divaldo Pereira Franco is often regarded as
the greatest Spiritist speaker of all times. Although a fair and encompassing portrait of
his accomplishments would require us to dispense much more time and effort to the
task at hand, we need not more than a couple of paragraphs about his life to
understand the magnitude of the work Mr Franco has carried out throughout his many
years as a writer, orator and educator.

Divaldo Franco is also a world renowned speaker, He has delivered over 14,000
lectures and spoken in 56 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Divaldo Franco represented the Spiritist movement in Nations Meeting for Peace in
2000. He was recently awarded Peace Ambassador of the World by the Embassade
Universalle Pour la Pax in Geneva, Switzerland. American and Canadian universities
have awarded Mr. Franco degrees of Doctor Honoris Causa in Humanities and in
Parapsychology.

Divaldo Franco's latest book,
The New Generation: The Spiritist View on Indigo and
Crystal Children,
co-authored with Dr. Vanessa Anseloni takes a look at the latest
generation of children. The generation termed Indigo children comes from the aura
these children omit, a blue-violet irradiation. These children "have become a great
challenge for psychologists, psychiatrists and neurosurgeons who examine them and
immediately observe their hyperactivity and dissatisfaction. They do not accept
imposed orders, and have a great capacity to confront adults as if they were adults
too." These children are truly special, representing a great percentage of all the kids
being born today on a worldwide basis. They come in "knowing" who they are - so
they must be recognized, celebrated for their exceptional qualities, and guided with
love and care.  Many indigo children diagnosed as having attention deficit disorder
(ADD) or ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) represent "a new kind of
evolution of humanity."  These children don't need drugs like Ritalin, but special care
and training. Indigo children appear to be a new wave of higher evolved spirits who
have since the early 70's started to populate the world. Many researchers believe that
Indigo children are here to pave the way for the next evolution of spirits, the Crystal
children. Crystal children are less rebellious, they are quiet, good observers, and
responsible. They are also quite philosophical and spiritually gifted. And they display
an unprecedented level of kindness and sensitivity to this world. In Allan Kardec's
The Spirit Book he made a reference to crystal children or the "new generation".
"They are the  spirits that would come from another dimension to promote the
progress of humanity."

We were blessed enough to attend a lecture on this very topic in Baltimore on
January 9th 2007 and had an opportunity to hear Divaldo Franco speak.

"This existence of ours is
as transient as autumn
clouds. To watch the
birth and death of beings
is like looking at the
movements of a dance. A
lifetime is a flash of
lightning in the sky.
Rushing by,like a torrent
down a steep mountain.
